Q. What do you enjoy about Public Accounting?
Each day presents a new opportunity to learn and grow in my profession as well as guide younger staff on the same journey. Public accounting gives me the opportunity to make a real impact for business owners and individuals. No two clients are the same, so I am always developing new ways to apply tax and accounting skills to meet client needs.
Q. Why do you like working at KWC?
Since joining KWC in 2016, I have described working here as winning the lottery. My fellow employees and the clients make coming to work enjoyable. In this industry, it’s a given that you will work long hours for the first four months of the year, but having an employer that recognizes this and provides a reduced work schedule throughout the summer is just another reason that KWC truly is a wonderful place to work.
Q. What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
Every chance I get to travel, I do. We only have some many years on this planet and I fully intend to see as much of world as I can in that time. In addition to traveling, I am still taking in all that my new city has to offer. There is always something to do like a sporting event, taking in a performance or trying a new, trendy restaurant here in the Nation’s capital.
