KWC Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) is pleased to announce that it successfully received the highest rating in a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice.
The review concluded that the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs. Our system review report can be seen here.
KWC’s peer review was performed by another independent CPA firm who qualified under the program’s requirements for service as a reviewer. These reviews determine whether a public accounting firm has suitable quality control policies and procedures and is complying with them. A firm participating in any of these programs must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years. The review was conducted under the guidance of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) following standards issued by the AICPA.
KWC is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center, the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Quality Center, as well as the AICPA’s Private Companies Practice Section. The firm is also a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
