Q. What do you love about your job?
I most enjoy the variety of our work and the ability to work with people I respect and admire – both as clients and associates.
Q. Why does your job matter to your clients?
My objective is to add value to my clients and to help them achieve their goals in life. It’s important to me that they feel that I’m a valuable part of their team.
Q. What unique qualities do you bring to KWC?
I have been with this accounting firm since the beginning, and as a result, have extensive experience in all aspects of the business, including the development of systems and processes. This allows me to have a better understanding of what our clients are facing when they’re running their own businesses.
Q. How would you describe the KWC culture?
Very open, honest, fair and proactive.
Q. What are people most surprised to learn about your job?
The breadth of knowledge, experience and the capabilities our firm brings to the table.

Q. What do you do for fun?
I play! Squash, golf, bike, hike and travel. The more the merrier.
Q. What’s your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere out in nature.
Q. What word best describes you?
Active. Some call me crazy, but I’m really just an energetic person.
Q. What’s your favorite book, or one that you’ve read recently?
The Elephant Whisperer by Lawrence Anthony. He’s a South African author.
Q. What’s one thing people are often surprised to learn about you?
I left South Africa in 1982 to caddy on the European golf tour for one season. But then I met my wife-to-be in Greece. We were married in Durban, South Africa, and moved to the U.S. in 1983, the year KWC was founded.
